“At the end of the day people won't remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.”

Therapeutic Consultation braids coaching with clinical practice specifically for mission driven leaders.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore the intersections of your professional and personal life…. reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and experiences… without judgment.

I'm here to offer culturally responsive guidance, insight, and practical strategies to help you navigate and lead through these difficult times.

From my Vantage Point…

As leaders we are struggling to find ways to support our teams and foster productive dialogue in these difficult times.

Here are a few things I am tracking….

  • The dismantling of DEI, blockages of critical race theory and the gender/race related stress the struggles in academia and higher education.

  • The war in the Middle East, antisemitism and islamophobia… activation of inter-generational trauma …and the fractures and divisions we are experiencing.

  • The post pandemic staffing crises, staff burnout and the increase in mental health needs.

My Approach…

My approach blends together my years as a leader, coach, supervisor and clinical social worker…with my own personal mission of social justice, creating spaces where people can thrive and be their authentic selves. I have led through large scale growth, humanitarian crises and pandemics. I am very familiar with balancing strategy, culture, and innovation. I have braided my clinical skills into all of my leadership positions, and typically draw from trauma informed practice, intergenerational trauma, psychodynamic theories such Ego Psychology, Object Relations, Intersubjectivity as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Narrative Therapy.

My undergraduate degree is from UC Santa Cruz focused on Psychology, Women’s Studies and Philosophy. I completed my social work degree at Smith College School for Social Work. And attended UCLA’s Anderson School of Management through the Johnson and Johnson Head Start program.
